Kathryn Tremblay is an award-winning Canadian entrepreneur and staffing enthusiast with over 37 years of experience specializing in the human aspect of human resources. As the co-founder and sole owner of Altis, one of Canada's largest independent staffing and recruitment firms, Kathryn has dedicated her entire career to improving the staffing process.

Founded in 1989, Altis remains 100% Canadian-owned and operated, placing thousands of qualified candidates in meaningful roles nationwide every year and supporting employers from coast to coast by providing recruitment services, market insights and consultative HR advice across industries and disciplines.

Kathryn has led Altis to be recognized for 20 consecutive years as one of Canada's Best Managed Companies (Platinum Club Member) by Deloitte. She has also maintained Women Business Enterprise (WBE) certification through WBE Canada every year since 2019.

A champion of people, Kathryn regularly serves as a career ambassador to new Canadians, is an avid mentor to women in the workforce and early-stage entrepreneurs and provides one-on-one coaching to support young women in achieving their academic dreams. She also prioritizes active participation with Indigenous communities, particularly through Pow Wow Pitch, an organization that lifts Indigenous entrepreneurs nationwide.

For Kathryn, business success and community impact have never been separate goals. She's built Altis around the belief that a company should leave people and the communities it touches better off than it found them. That shows up in how deeply she prioritizes ESG and inclusion as core to the way Altis operates, not just in what it says.

"Real leadership happens in the smallest moments, the one-on-one conversations where someone realizes they're capable of more than they thought."

Kathryn holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Ottawa. Born and raised in our nation’s capital, she remains rooted in the community that shaped her. Outside of work, Kathryn is happiest at the cottage, painting, finding rocks along the shoreline and enjoying the slower pace. She is a mother to four daughters and grandmother to four grandchildren, two girls and two boys, who she says light up her world from a new perspective.

Erin Campbell is Chief Executive Officer of Altis, one of Canada's leading independent staffing and recruitment firms. She leads the organization with a simple, steady belief: no matter how much technology, labour markets and the nature of work evolve, exceptional businesses will always be built around people.

Having spent more than seventeen years with Altis, Erin has helped shape nearly every part of the organization. Her experience spans client partnerships, sales, operations, leadership development, human resources and executive leadership, and it's given her a rare, hard-won perspective on how high-performing organizations attract talent, develop leaders and grow sustainably.

Erin joined Altis in 2009 as an account manager and quickly earned the trust of clients through her commercial insight, responsiveness and genuine ability to understand both the business challenges in front of her and the people behind them. As her responsibilities grew, so did her impact. She went on to lead sales, operations, people strategy and organizational development, strengthening leadership capability, building culture and helping guide the company through periods of real growth and change.

In her prior role as Chief Operating Officer, Erin championed industry specialization and a client-first approach, deepening trust in Altis across the industry. Today, she's focused on building an organization that can thrive through change — one that invests in technology without losing the human connection, develops leaders who genuinely care about the people they lead and creates experiences that clients and team members carry with them.

"Behind every successful company is a series of thoughtful hiring decisions, and we’re grateful to play such a critical role in this."

Known throughout the company as a mentor who builds careers, Erin believes the best leaders create environments where people can do meaningful work, keep learning and go further than they ever imagined possible. Her leadership shows up as practical optimism, thoughtful decision-making and a real willingness to move with both speed and conviction once she's listened to the people around her.

Outside of work, Erin loves to travel, discover great restaurants and listen to leadership and business podcasts. She lives in Ontario with her husband, Dave, and their two children, who remind her every day that the most meaningful investments we make are in people.
