When a property management position remained unfilled after weeks of searching, Altis helped a real estate investment trust secure the right hire quickly and build a stronger recruitment partnership in the process.

The Challenge

A real estate investment trust approached Altis after spending two weeks working with another staffing provider without receiving a single qualified candidate for a Property Administrator position.

The role was important to the day-to-day operation of the business, and leaving it vacant was placing additional pressure on the existing team. The client needed someone who could step into the role with the right skills, experience and approach, but they also needed confidence that the search was moving in the right direction.

Our Approach

We began with a detailed intake conversation to understand not only the technical requirements of the role, but also the team's priorities, working environment and what success would look like in the position.

With a clear understanding of the client's needs, we launched a focused search leveraging our experience within property management and adjacent industries.

Rather than presenting a large volume of candidates, we concentrated on identifying professionals whose experience aligned closely with the role. Three candidates were shortlisted and presented to the client, each meeting the requirements discussed during the intake process.

Throughout the search, we maintained regular communication with the client, sharing updates, gathering feedback and ensuring momentum was maintained at every stage.

As the search progressed, conversations naturally expanded beyond the immediate hiring need. The client was looking for a recruitment partner who could provide consistent support across multiple areas of their business, and we were able to demonstrate that through our work rather than simply talking about it.
