Fraudulent Job Posting Policy
Purpose
At Altis, we’re committed to maintaining a safe, trustworthy and transparent hiring experience. This policy explains how users can report suspected fraudulent, misleading, or inaccurate job postings, as well as suspicious communications or activity related to Altis job opportunities. It also outlines how Altis reviews and addresses reported concerns.
Scope
This policy applies to:
- All publicly advertised job postings on the Altis job platform, which are created and managed by Altis
- External job postings, advertisements, communications, or outreach that claim to represent Altis or Altis job opportunities, including those shared through third-party websites, job boards, email, messaging platforms, social media, or other channels
This policy outlines how users can report concerns related to both official Altis-managed postings and suspected fraudulent or misleading activity involving the Altis name or brand.
What may be considered fraudulent, misleading, or inaccurate
Examples of fraudulent, misleading, or inaccurate postings or related activity may include:
- Misrepresentation of an employer, role, compensation, or job details
- Requests for payment or sensitive personal or financial information
- Impersonation of legitimate organizations or representatives
- Job postings that do not represent genuine employment opportunities
- Inaccurate, outdated, or incomplete job information
- Emails, messages, or outreach claiming to represent Altis or an Altis job opportunity that did not originate from our official channels or job platform
- Requests for payment or sensitive personal or financial information
- Requests for banking information, SIN, passport details, or other sensitive information prior to a legitimate offer or onboarding process
- Emails or communications claiming to be from Altis that do not originate from an official @altis.com email address
Reporting a Concern
If you believe a posting or communication may be fraudulent, misleading, or inaccurate, you can report it using our “Report a Concern” form available on our website HERE.
This includes suspicious emails, messages, calls, or outreach claiming to represent Altis job opportunities, even if they are not connected to a posting on the Altis platform.
Where possible, please include:
- A link to the job posting or communication
- The employer or company name
- A description of your concern
These details can be added in the “Please describe the concern in detail” section of the form.
If you believe you have shared personal or financial information in response to a suspected fraudulent communication, we recommend contacting your bank, credit bureau, or local authorities as appropriate.
Policy Development Worksheet & Template
Any personal information submitted through the “Report a Concern” form will be handled in accordance with Altis’ Privacy Policy.
