If you had told us back in 2006 that Altis would one day be recognized as a Platinum Club member of Canada’s Best Managed Companies for 20 consecutive years, I don’t think we would have fully believed you.
At the time, we were focused on what was directly in front of us. Supporting our clients. Helping candidates navigate important moments in their careers. Continuing to grow a business that started at a kitchen table in Ottawa back in 1989.
Twenty years later, the world around us looks completely different.
The way we work has changed. The industries we support have evolved. Technology has transformed recruitment, communication, and the pace at which businesses operate. Entirely new roles and skill sets now exist that we couldn’t have imagined two decades ago.
And through all that change, we’ve had to evolve too. Over and over again.
But when I reflect on what this recognition means, I don’t just think about the designation itself. I think about everything that happened in between.
I think about our team showing up through periods of growth, uncertainty, transformation, and change with resilience and care. I think about the relationships we’ve built with clients and candidates across the country. I think about the thousands of conversations, placements, challenges, and successes that shaped who we are today.
Because while so much has changed over the years, the intention behind our business hasn’t.
From the beginning, we wanted to build a company that people could rely on. One that took the work seriously, treated relationships with care, and understood that behind every hire is a person, a team, a business, and often a lot of pressure to get it right.
That mindset continues to shape how we work today.
I believe that’s part of what this recognition reflects. Not one standout year or one major milestone, but the consistency of continuing to evolve while staying grounded in what matters most.
And the truth is, every year we’ve received this recognition has felt meaningful. It still does.
Because it represents the work our team puts in every single day to support our clients, candidates, and each other.
To our team members across Canada, thank you for the energy, care, and commitment you bring to this business.
To our clients, candidates, and partners, thank you for continuing to trust us to be part of important moments within your organizations and careers.
And to Deloitte, thank you for recognizing Altis as a Platinum Club member of Canada’s Best Managed Companies for 20 consecutive years.
We’re incredibly proud of this milestone, and even more excited about what’s ahead.
